Internships usually run for 2 or more months and are offered to candidates with existing skills who can work on live projects.

Content Creator
Must Have:
1. Basic knowledge of HTML tags.
2. Excellent typing and writing skills.
3. Knowledge of proper English grammar (written).
4. Enthusiasm for social-media marketing.
Additional Skills:
1. Electronics (ECE / EEE) background preferred.
2. Experience in graphics design and blogging is preferred.
3. Image/video editing skills preferred.
What to Expect:
1. Responsible for listing/updating products to RoboRium.com and tracking their inventory.
2. Responsible for writing minimum 2 blog posts per week related to
a) Technologies such as 3D Printing, Robotics, Internet of Things, Maker Community, OR
b) Updates at the company.
3. Responsible for writing technical reports and working closely with Maker interns.
4. Responsible for managing posts on social media accounts such as facebook, twitter, instagram, snapchat etc.
5. Optional work from home, with office visits only when required.
Internship Stipend: INR 4 per existing product update. INR 8 per new product listing. 8-10ppw for other content.
3D Printing Designer
A mechanical wizard who can design using computers and can work with materials like plastic, wood, and metal. This position is only available for candidates based in Delhi.
Must Have:
1. Skills in Computer Aided Design and Manufacturing.
2. Good working knowledge of SolidWorks (preferred), Autodesk Fusion360 (preferred), Blender, Meshmixer, SketchUp, CATIA and/or additional tools for designing and rendering parts and mechanisms according to provided specifications. Send us a link to your portfolio.
3. Designing specifically for FDM 3D printers keeping in mind printer parameters, constraints and capabilities.
4. Excellent eye for aesthetic design and attention to detail.
5. Good understanding of color science and combinations.
Additional Skills:
1. Knowledge of Simplify3D, Cura, or Repetier.
2. Knowledge of Coral or ZBrush.
3. Knowledge of editing STL files in Meshmixer or Fusion360.
4. Knowledge of working with 3D Scanners.

What to Expect:
1. You will be creating new designs or editing existing designs of robot parts in CAD ready for 3D printing or mass-manufacturing.
2. Systematically improve the mechanical design, ensuring that a product will work with given devices, will perform consistently, and is ready for manufacturing.
3. Fix meshes of existing designs and 3D scans before manufacturing (employees only).
4. May build custom 3D Printers, Laser Engraves, CNCs from scratch (employees only), and regularly operate a 3D Printer.
Robotics Engineer - Software / Maker - Software
Coder with background in Computer Science, having experience working with hardware.
The Maker internship position has a learning curve and as such is flexible on the following requirements. An Electronics lover stuck in Computer Science, a Coder stuck in Mechanical, and other engineering misfits are welcome to apply.
Must Have:
1. Expertise with Python in Linux.
2. Experience of creating C/C++ libraries.
3. Experience of working with Arduino and/or Raspberry Pi.
4. Must have an interest in multiple fields.
Additional Skills:
1. Experience of working with Dynamixel motors.
2. Experience with image and video processing in OpenCV.
3. Experience of working with Intel RealSense Depth cameras.
4. Experience of working with ROS.
5. Working knowledge of SLAM and navigation algorithms.
What to Expect:
1. Will get to work on robotic research and development projects.
2. Will be required to create codes for working with the sensors and motors using Arduino, Raspberry Pi and/or other SBCs.
3. Will be required to write optimized codes for new algorithms.

Machine Learning Engineer
Coder with background in Mathematics, Computer Science and experience in TensorFlow. Preferably a recent graduate of or currently enrolled in a Masters program. This post comprises of Data Analyst or Data Scientist skillsets.
Must Have:
1. Expertise with TensorFlow 2.0 using Python (preferred) and C++.
2. Experience with TensorFlow Lite, TensorFlow.js, TensorFlow Serving, TensorFlow Hub, and TensorBoard.
3. Experience with Python, scikit-learn, numpy, pandas, matplotlib, Excel and the PyCharm IDE are preferred.
Additional Skills:
1. Experience of creating javascript based websites for training and deploying browser-based models from available csv datasets.
2. Experience of training and deploying models for SBCs from available sensor and image/video data.
3. Experience with Weka, Tableau, R Studio.

Robotics Engineer - Hardware / Maker - Hardware
Engineer with background in Electronics, having experience of coding.
The Maker internship position has a learning curve and as such is flexible on the following requirements. An Electronics lover stuck in Computer Science, a Coder stuck in Mechanical, and other engineering misfits are welcome to apply.
Must Have:
1. Experience with Arduino hardware and IDE.
2. Working knowledge of C/C++, and/or Python.
3. Willingness to get hands dirty with glue, wood, acrylic, tape, paint etc.
4. Must have an interest in multiple fields.
Additional Skills:
1. Experience of working with Raspberry Pi, and/or other Single Board Computers.
2. Experience of Firmware development for Bluetooth/BLE applications.
3. Experience of designing Power Distribution boards.
4. Experience of working on Linux.
5. Skills in PCB designing and manufacturing with working knowledge of designing tools such as Eagle (preferred), EasyEDA (preferred), KiCad, Proteus, ExpressPCB, OrCAD, MultiSim, Altium, Design Spark, or similar design tools along with knowledge of creating Schematics, BOM, and Gerber files.

4. Interns will be required to write detailed manuals of the experiments.

6. Will create PCB designs of new systems, circuits and devices and systematically improve the designs, ensuring that a product will perform consistently in specified operating environments and is ready for manufacturing.

Android App Developer - Robotics
Must Have:
1. Experience with Android app development in Android Studio, and optimization for phones, SBCs (RaspberryPi, ODROID, RockPi, OrangePi, etc) and other BLE devices.
Additional Skills:
1. Experience of creating apps for BLE mesh for tracking, localization.
2. Experience of working with Arduino.
3. Experience of working with Tensorflow and Tensorflow Lite.
4. Experience of working with SBC GPIO pin control.
5. Experience of creating apps using device's sensors.
6. Experience of rooting and customizing AndroidOS to modify system functions.
What to Expect:
1. Create new robot control applications using a device's capabilities and functions.
2. Control external peripherals using GPIO pins and USB ports.
3. Control Wireless/Wired communication using Bluetooth, WiFi, and Ethernet.
4. Create applications that run automatically on device bootup.
Android & iOS App Developer
Must Have:
1. Experience with app development and optimization for Android and iOS based phones. The apps could be ecommerce focused or machine learning based.
2. Experience with Android Studio and Swift.
Additional Skills:
1. Experience of creating apps using REST APIs for PHP based websites.
2. Experience with Flutter (preferred), React Native (preferred), Apache Cordova, etc. for cross platform (mobile/web) app development.
What to Expect:
1. Create and Update apps of services by JMoon Technologies, for example: RoboRium.com (ecommerce), JMoon MakerSpace, JMoon Labs, etc.
Website Developer (closed)
Must Have:
1. Experience with development of PHP + HTML + CSS based websites.
2. Good working knowledge of FTP Clients.
What to Expect:
Update existing websites of RoboRium.com, JMoon MakerSpace, JMoon Labs OR
Create/Update APIs to be used by Android and iOS Apps.
Artist / Cosplayer (closed)
Cosplayers required with experience of experimenting with various materials. If you are an artist, designer, architect, or cosplayer with hands on experience of working with various materials and tools, this is for you. Freelancers may apply.
Must Have:
1. Experience with Heat Gun, Glue Gun, Soldering Iron, and Drill or Dremel.
2. Willingness to get hands dirty with glue, splinters, dirt, tape, ink, paint etc and working with paper, wood, plastic, rubber and more.
What to Expect:
1. Will get to experiment with various materials like Silicone Clay, Modelling Clay, EVA Foam, Fiberglass, Thermoplastic (Worbla), Bondo, Silicone, Epoxy Resin, Thermocol, Cardboard and more.
2. Will create costumes and props using the above materials.
Volunteers are welcome to join and learn to build costumes every year from October to December.
